ABOUT
I took on the roles of both dialogue and animatic editor for this unconventional halloween anthology from Hulu and the co-creator of the animated series Solar Opposites.
In the world of animation, it's not uncommon for scheduling and logistical challenges to make it impossible for voice actors to record together. In this project, where the performers recorded their lines separately, it was my job to weave their individual performances together, ensuring that the pacing and comedic tone blended seamlessly. Working with a collection of isolated audio files, I stitched together dozens of different takes to bring the characters to life.
Once the vocal rhythms were established, I crafted an animatic sequence from hundreds of storyboard panels created by artists at Titmouse, Inc. to be used as a timing and story reference for the final animation, which would be completed almost six months later.
