The 5th Quarter is a quarter-hour digital series from 3Arts Entertainment. The sports mockumentary series functions like a comedic version of 30 for 30, and blends both professional athletes (Joel Embiid, Blake Griffin), sports commentators (Jim Ross, Kenny Mayne), and comedians (Marlon Wayans, George Lopez) into sports tales that are fact-adjacent. One notable episode stars Blake Griffin as a professional speed walker who must face off against Jimmy O. Yang (HBO’s Silicon Valley).

As the lead editor on seasons two and three, I worked closely with executive producers and a diverse team of six directors to extract the comedic gold from a blend of scripted scenes and improvised material. It was an exciting and dynamic collaboration, blending humor and creativity to deliver entertaining moments throughout the series.
